Image quality and metadata
HEIC photos are decoded to JPEG images and placed on PDF pages. JPEG conversion can change image detail and color. The output is an image based PDF, not vector artwork or searchable text. Original EXIF metadata and camera DPI are not guaranteed to be preserved. The image size option uses pixel dimensions as PDF points rather than reconstructing the original camera print size.
Photo compatibility
HEIC and HEIF variants differ. A file that cannot be decoded shows an error; export a JPEG or PNG copy from the source application and try that copy. Large batches and high resolution photos can exceed browser memory. This workflow does not preserve Live Photo motion or all frames in a multi image source.
Document processing and website privacy
Document contents are processed in your browser without uploads to a remote document processing server. The website can still make network requests for application code, fonts, samples and analytics. Product events exclude document contents and file names. Local processing does not certify a document or guarantee regulatory compliance.
Common questions
Can I combine several photos into one PDF?
Yes. Select the combined output mode and arrange the ready photos in the desired page order. Separate PDF output is available as a ZIP.
Is this a lossless HEIC archive?
No. Photos are converted to JPEG for PDF embedding. Keep the original HEIC or HEIF files if you need the original image data or metadata.
Does this tool make text in a photo searchable?
No. The converter places an image on each PDF page and does not perform OCR.
